Do you want to climb Mera Peak but don’t have experience or equipment for climbing? Are you looking for guides and climbers to help you get to the top of the mountain from the base camp and back? This is exactly what you have been looking for.
Mera Peak lies in the Everest region lies at an altitude of 6476m. The peak itself is not too technically complicated but the summit day from camp is long and tiring. You will need experienced sherpas, ropes, crampons, clips, and numerous other equipment to make the climb. This is what we provide with our 1-Day Mera peak service.
Our service begins when you arrive at Mera High Camp located at an altitude of 5750m. You can find ways to get to the High Camp by trekking on your own. You will have to notify us on the date of your arrival at the High Camp for us to prepare everything. From Mera High Camp, we can take in breathtaking panoramas of Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga, the world's five tallest mountains. Mt. Baruntse and Mt. Gaurishanker are also clearly visible.
As you arrive at the high camp, a warm tent will be already placed there with warm tea to welcome you. Here you will also meet your guides who will help you on your journey. Today we will discuss and learn about the equipment we will be using on the climb. We do this for a couple of hours so you get hang of the equipment. As the evening comes, you will be served a warm dinner to help you on your climb the next day.
Waking up very early, before sunrise around 1 AM, we grab our headlights and equipment and begin the climb all the way to the summit after a warm breakfast served by us. Before making the final ascent to the peak, we will don crampons, headlamps, and rope up. Taking the advice of our climbing guide, we make our way along an incline but the non-technical trail that leads gradually upwards; the major difficulties are just the thin air and the low temperatures.
In three to four hours, a well-acclimatized group can reach the peak's central summit from the high camp. This means that we will have reached the top of Mera Central around 9:00 in the morning. As we take in wonderful mountaintop views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, Sishapanga, Kanchenjunga, Chamlang, and more. We feel like we are in heaven looking down at the world. Taking plenty of pictures, we start our descent from atop the mountain. Slowly our guides will lead the descent. In around the same amount of time, as it took to go up, we get back to base camp. At base camp, warm water, drinks, and food will be waiting for you. You will have successfully climbed Mera Peak.
If you would like to go for a peak climbing adventure to the Mera Peak but find the entire trek and climb packages do not fit exactly with your needs, we at Accessible Adventure are here for you.

Walking up early at 1 AM, we serve you hot tea and breakfast. We leave with all our equipment, crampons, ropes, and headlights. We follow our leader and climb the non-technical peak.
