Bardiya National Park is a protected region that is located in the Bardiya district in the far western part of Nepal. It encompasses a total area of 968 square kilometers and is home to hundreds of different species of flora and animals. We will depart Kathmandu on the airplane which will take around one hour in order to arrive in Nepalgunj. In Kathmandu, our tour guides will transport you to the Tribhuvan International Airport. Following completion of the required procedures at the airport, you will join the flight to Nepalgunj. The flight lasts for around one hour in total. As soon as you have landed at Nepalgunj airport, a representative from the resort will be there waiting for you with a sign with your name. Following that, you will have a two-hour ride in a jeep. After you have arrived at Bardia, you should get some rest for a while. In the evening, we have the option of paying a visit to one of the local villages inhabited by the Tharu people. While there, not only will we be able to watch the traditional dances of the Tharu people, but we will also be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Bardiya Forest.
Following the meal, we will go on an elephant ride in the jungle for many hours, during which time we will have ample possibilities to observe several species of flora, fauna, and vegetation. This activity will take place after we have finished eating. Aside from the fact that it is a lot of fun, going on an elephant safari is also advantageous since it increases your chances of sighting wild animals. This is because wild animals are less likely to be afraid of you when you are riding on top of their friendly mammoth. In addition to this, we are protected from any potential attacks made by the wild animals because we are riding on the elephant. . Following breakfast, we have an hour-long trip to the village of Chisapani, which is situated on the banks of the Karnali River. The climate of Bardia National Park is considered to be subtropical monsoon because it is found in the Terai area of Nepal. The park has three distinct seasons: summer (March to June), monsoon (July to October), and winter (December to February). Each season lasts approximately three months (October to February).
