If the package does not include crampons, they can be rented in Kathmandu from shops in the Thamel area. The key requirement is that the crampons fit your mountaineering boots correctly. Bring the boots to the shop, have the crampons fitted properly, and walk around in the combination before leaving. A crampon that fits one boot style may not work with another, so size alone is not a sufficient basis for selection.
You can, and many climbers do, but it comes with meaningful risk. Renting boots means the fit has not been tested over the dozens of hours of walking needed to break them in, and the specific shape of your foot inside a rental boot at 5,800 meters in the cold is unknown until summit day.
