It extends over a territory of 159 square kilometers in total. Climate-wise, Shivapuri-Nagarjun occupies an area that straddles both the subtropical and the temperate zones. There have been sightings of animal species in the park, including the Himalayan black bear, leopard, jungle cat, and rhesus monkey, among others. The jeep safari begins from Balaju where you will be taken into the deep forest. We begin our journey early in the morning at 7 AM. The duration of the safari is going to be close to six hours. The highest viewpoint of Jamacho monastery, which is 2067 meters above sea level, provides visitors with a breathtaking panorama that includes mountain ranges such as the Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Helembu ranges.
