It is the responsibility of helicopter operators to comply with the strict safety regulations set out by the aviation authorities and to pass regular maintenance tests and inspections. Failure to do so will result in the aircraft being grounded. Pilots with extensive training and experience who are well-versed in the terrain and weather of the Everest region operate the flights.  Their first priority is the safety of their passengers. In addition, weather patterns are regularly checked, and flights may be canceled or rescheduled if conditions are judged risky. Adventure activities are by their very nature risky, but the Everest Base Camp helicopter trip puts safety first at every turn. As they set out on this amazing airborne journey, passengers can relax knowing they are in capable hands.
