In case you’re planning for the week short trek in Annapurna, with incredible perspectives, Mardi Himal Trek is a perfect decision. It covers the best of what Annapurna brings to the table: peaceful villages, Gurung cultures, and their lifestyle, astounding mountain panorama, and rice fields layered over one another, hiking down into the valley. Best of all, so few travelers think about it.

Mardi route is the hidden gem of the Annapurna region for the trekking lovers. This is a new trekking trail in the Annapurna mountain open since 2012. It is situated to the east of the Annapurna Base Camp approaching under the Fishtail Mountain.

Mardi Trek rewards you with a stunning view of a surrounding trail that brings you down into the valley which is at the north of Ghorepani. You will hike the route before moving up another edge, known as the “Mardi trail”. Beyond question, a standout among the best short treks in Nepal.

While hiking in Mardi Himal, trekkers follow the route above the river known as Modi Khola. The trails start with the bird watching view in dense rhododendron, and maple forests. Trek to Mardi offers a stunning view of Annapurna range, snow-covered peaks, including the most beautiful Mt. Fishtail.

Sunset and sunrise change the colors of the peaks appear heavenly. Mardi trekking goes through the quiet stone village through wonderful rhododendron forest swelling in many different colors. The woodland continues until around 3,200 meters.

It takes around three or four hours to climb Mardi Himal Base Camp from High Camp. This offers fabulous closeup views of the entire Annapurna Range. Teahouses and Homestays are available for accommodation during Mardi trekking.

In general, this is the option in contrast to the trails of the Annapurna region like Annapurna Base Camp, Ghorepani Poon Hill, and Annapurna Circuit Trekking. In any case, the trek is best of brilliant mountain sees, astonishing scenes, woodland, and rich conventional settlements.
