Foreigners will no longer receive 'on-arrival' visas and medical certificate is required for a visa

The government has postponed the provision of 'on-arrival' visas to those who have come to Nepal due to exposure to the corona virus.

The cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence Baluwatar on Sunday decided to postpone the 'on-arrival' visa from this.

People coming to Nepal from countries where the corona virus has been infected ( China, Japan, South Korea, Iran and Italy )will have to get a visa from the Nepalese Embassy in the respective country and also have to get a health certificate when applying for a visa.


Nepal is also going to be on high alert as the risk of corona virus is increasing worldwide.

In the meantime, the government is calling on its citizens not to be exposed to more transitory countries. In addition, the government is calling for urgent non-arrival if such programs are to be held from outside the gathering, Party and outside.



Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a debate on Baluwater on Saturday after the World Health Organization (WHO) put Nepal at high risk of Corona. The discussion has constituted a high-level coordination committee headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ishwar Pokhrel to prepare for Corona virus prevention.
