Annapurna Panorama Trek or Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek is one of the favorite treks by the trekkers in Annapurna Region. The trek is easily accessible from Pokhara; after a 2 day hiking from Nayapul. The main highlight of the trek is a visit to Poon Hill, situated at 3210 meters above the sea level; from where one can enjoy a mesmerizing view of sunrise and spectacular mountain views such as Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Tukuche Peak, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre and many more.

Another highlight of the trek is a visit to Magar community village in Ulleri and Gurung community village in Ghandruk. After a visit to Poon Hill you will trek to Tadapani, Ghandruk and adjourn your trek in Birethanti and Nayapul making a clockwise trek.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01 : Your arrival to Tribhuwan

Day 02 : Flight to Pokhara and trek to Tikhedhunga

Day 03 : Trek to Ghorepani

Day 04 : Hiking to Poonhill - back to Ghorepani, and trek to Tadapani.

Day 05 : Trek to Ghandruk

Day 06 : Trek down to Birethanti - Nayapul - Pokhara.

Day 07 : Drive back to Kathmandu on Tourist Coach.

Day 08 : Transfer to Airport for your onward Journey.

Day 01Your arrival to TribhuwanInternational Airport (TIA), you will be met by our Airport Representative, and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel. B.B.

Day 02Flight to Pokhara and trek to Tikhedhunga A 30 minutes flight, we will reach in Pokhara and take an hour car drive to Nayapul from where our first day trek begins. After 15- minutes short walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1065m) a large village that has many shops & teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. From there, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hile at 1495m & after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1525m. This trek offers a short & relatively easy day, during journey & allows us to become used to the experience of trekking in Nepal. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast.

Day 03Trek to Ghorepani Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with steep climb to Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070m. Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak & rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then we make our trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m. After an hour walk brings you to Ghorepani at 2775m. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast.

Day 04Hiking to Poonhill - back to Ghorepani, and trek to Tadapani. This morning, we will get up early in the morning, and go for hiking to Poon Hill (3210m) to see superb view of sunrise and panoramic view of Himalayas including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and so on. After visiting Poonhill, we will come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and continue trekking to Tadapani. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast.

Day 05Trek to Ghandruk The day starts with short downhill. Leaving Tadapani, we descend steeply through forests and then the trail eases as we reach Ghandrunk (2000m), which is the village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal, have their own dialect, typical culture, costume, and life style. This village is possibly the popular tourist destination that offers the beautiful mountain views and having easy connection with Pokhara. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast.

Day 06Trek down to Birethanti - Nayapul - Pokhara.Today we begin our journey, from Ghandruk offering easy walking all downhill to Nayapul, we then drive to Pokhara. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast.

Day 07Drive back to Kathmandu on Tourist Coach. Overnight at hotel. B.B.

Day 08Transfer to Airport for your onward Journey. Farewell!
