Annapurna Panorama Trek or Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek is one of the favorite treks by the trekkers in Annapurna Region. The trek is easily accessible from Pokhara; after a 2 day hiking from Nayapul. The main highlight of the trek is a visit to Poon Hill, situated at 3210 meters above the sea level; from where one can enjoy a mesmerizing view of sunrise and spectacular mountain views such as Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Tukuche Peak, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre and many more.

Another highlight of the trek is a visit to Magar community village in Ulleri and Gurung community village in Ghandruk. After a visit to Poon Hill you will trek to Tadapani, Ghandruk and adjourn your trek in Birethanti and Nayapul making a clockwise trek.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Day 02 : FlyTo Pokhara (823m/2,700ft) and trek to Ulleri (2050m/6725 ft): 30 min flight and 6 hours trek

Day 03 : Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,750m/9,020 ft): 4 - 5 hours trek

Day 04 : Hike up to Poon Hill and onto Tadapani (2,610m/8,560ft) Duration: 7 - 8 hrs

Day 05 : Tadapani to Pokhara (910m) Duration: 4 hours walking and 2 hours drive

Day 06: : Drive back to Kathmandu on Tourist Coach.

Day 07: : Transfer to Airport for your onward Journey.

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) You arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu at any time will be welcomed by Accessible Adventure airport representative. S/he will transfer you to the hotel. Our representative will also explain about the program in detail. You can relax at the hotel since we do not have any plan for this day. Overnight At Hotel Overnight at a hotel. No meals included.

Day 02FlyTo Pokhara (823m/2,700ft) and trek to Ulleri (2050m/6725 ft): 30 min flight and 6 hours trek A 30 minutes flight, we will reach in Pokhara and take an hour car drive to Nayapul from where our first day trek begins. After 15- minutes short walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1065m) a large village that has many shops & teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. From there, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hile at 1495m & after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1525m. This trek offers a short & relatively easy day, during the journey & allows us to become used to the experience of trekking in Nepal. Overnight at Guest House breakfast Lunch and Dinner included.

Day 03Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,750m/9,020 ft): 4 - 5 hours trek Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with steep climb to Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070m. Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak & rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then we make our trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m. After an hour walk brings you to Ghorepani at 2775m. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast.

Day 04Hike up to Poon Hill and onto Tadapani (2,610m/8,560ft) Duration: 7 - 8 hrs This morning, we will get up early in the morning, and go for hiking to Poon Hill (3210m) to see superb view of sunrise and panoramic view of Himalayas including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and so on. After visiting Poonhill, we will come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and continue trekking to Tadapani. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast.

Day 05Tadapani to Pokhara (910m) Duration: 4 hours walking and 2 hours drive The day starts with short downhill. Leaving Tadapani, we descend steeply through forests and then the trail From Tadapani, we make a steep descent through the dense and dark forest. This part of the trek will be through a thick forest of old rhododendron trees. When the rhododendron trees are in bloom, these forests actually turn into amazing gardens. By afternoon, depending upon the season of travel, we also get to enjoy cherry blossoms in bloom on the slopes on the other side of the ravine. After trekking some more minutes, we enter the village of Ghandruk, a slope settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by the Gurung people. Along with enjoying the stunningly close-up towering views of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains, we also acquaint ourselves with the simple but rich cultural traditions of the Gurung people at the Gurung From Ghandruk village easy walking all downhill to Kimche, we then drive to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel, breakfast and lunch included.

Day 06:Drive back to Kathmandu on Tourist Coach.While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, we head up to Damauli, Dumre, Mugling, and Kurintar where Nepal’s first Cable car is operated to reach Manakamana Temple, this is a temple where most Nepalese come to have their wishes granted before leaving home or getting married. From Naubise we climb up to Thankot, the gateway to Kathmandu and finally reach our hotel & a lovely soft warm bed. Overnight in Kathmandu hotel inclusive with breakfast

Day 07:Transfer to Airport for your onward Journey. After breakfast and our last day in Kathmandu, our vehicle and escorts will be on standby to drop you to the international airport three hours before our scheduled flight back home.
